Brazil’s Betting Ban Is Widely Approved and Barely Remembered Before the Vote

Quaest found that 60% of voters aware of at least one recent government measure consider the measures electoral, in a poll G1 published on October 21 . Those voters, about half the sample, chose that answer over the view that the measures were necessary even during the campaign, which drew 32%. Asked which measure they remembered, 11% named the ban on betting and online gambling, level with a package for micro-entrepreneurs. A Bolsa Família increase led at 25%, followed by the end of the 6x1 working scale at 16%.
