For writers
Write a column for Dropmint
The news here is gathered from other outlets. The columns are the part we publish ourselves, and they come from readers. If you have chased an airdrop, tested a casino's withdrawals or spent a year in a web3 game, you know things worth writing down.
What we are looking for
- Columns, 250 words or more: an argument, an account of something you did, or an explanation of something people get wrong.
- Short takes, 150 words or more: one point, made quickly.
- First-hand detail. What you did, what it cost, what happened.
What we turn down
- Anything with a referral link, or written to promote a token, casino or game.
- Price calls and "how to get rich" pieces.
- Text copied from elsewhere or produced wholesale by an AI tool.
How it works
- Create an account. It takes a minute and is only used for writing.
- Write in the editor. It saves a draft in your browser as you type.
- Send it. An editor reads every piece, usually within three working days.
- You see the decision on your profile page. If it is sent back, the editor says why and you can revise it.
We do not pay for columns, and we do not charge to publish them. The full rules are in the terms of use.
