Airdrops

• Never type a seed phrase or private key into a website. No genuine airdrop needs it.
• Never pay a "gas deposit", "verification fee" or "unlock fee" to receive free tokens.
• Check the address of a claim page against the project's own official channels. Scam copies appear within hours of an announcement.
• Use a separate wallet with little in it for claiming, and review what a transaction approves before you sign.
• Many airdropped tokens fall sharply once trading opens. Some are taxable where you live.

Crypto

Crypto assets can lose most of their value quickly, and losses are usually permanent. Exchanges and protocols fail. Do not put in money you cannot afford to lose.

Casinos and betting

Gambling is for adults only, and the legal age and the law differ by country. Many crypto casinos, including Roobet, do not accept players from a number of countries. Check before you play, and do not use a VPN to get round a restriction: accounts are closed and balances lost that way.

Gambling should cost what you chose to spend on it, not more. If it is causing you stress or debt, free and confidential help is available from GamCare (UK), the National Council on Problem Gambling (US) and Gamblers Anonymous.

Web3 games

Play-to-earn rewards depend on token prices and on the game staying popular. Treat any money put into game assets as spending, not saving.
