Vinland Saga’s Creator Has ‘No Good News’ On Season 3: ‘The Project Is Not Currently In Progress’

It’s been over three years since the second season of Vinland Saga , MAPPA’s adaptation of Makoto Yukimura’s beloved historical epic manga, graced our screens, yet an animated conclusion to Thorfinn’s journey still isn’t in the cards. That’s according to Vinland Saga’s creator, who apologised to fans while confirming that a potential season 3 “is not currently in progress.” Makoto Yukimura’s Vinland Saga is perfect. I cannot overstate this; it’s comfortably earned its spot in my top three, nestled somewhere between Mob Psycho 100 and Fullmetal Alchemist .
