UK: Gambling operator L&L Europe to pay £900,000 for regulatory breaches

L & L Europe Limited will pay £900,000 (US$1.20 million) as part of a regulatory settlement with the UK Gambling Commission for regulatory breaches involving customer withdrawals, anti-money laundering controls, and social responsibility. The commission said the term was unfair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The operator also manually reviewed every fifth or tenth withdrawal for some customers , requiring them to provide additional information before their funds could be released.
