Macau’s visitor arrivals up 8.5% to 32.2 million in first nine months of 2026

Macau welcomed a total of 32,181,272 visitor arrivals in the first nine months of 2026 , representing a year-on-year increase of 8.5%. This included a 15.9% year-on-year increase in September alone, which reached 3,216,535 arrivals. Among the visitors during the first three quarters, those from mainland China constituted the majority, increasing by 10.7% year-on-year to 23,884,916. Visitor arrivals from the Taiwan region stood at 882,023, up 21.3%, while arrivals from the Hong Kong SAR fell slightly by 0.3% to 5,464,916. During the nine months to 30 September 2026, international visitor arrivals totaled 1,949,417, an increase of 3.4% year-on-year.
