UK Gambling Commission secures £900,000 settlement from L & L Europe over withdrawal delays

The UK Gambling Commission has secured a £900,000 regulatory settlement from L & L Europe Limited over failures that included unfairly delaying customer withdrawals. L & L Europe Limited, which runs seven gambling websites including allbritishcasino.com, casinocasino.com and hypercasino.com, will pay the money in lieu of a financial penalty, with additional payments towards the Commission’s investigation costs, the regulator said on October 21. The Commission’s review, prompted by an audit, found the operator’s terms allowed customers only one withdrawal request at a time, with a further request possible only after the previous one was authorised.
