Nintendo has explained what led it to revisit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with another remake. In the first part of the Ask the Developer Q&A series , the creators were asked what prompted the team to remake the game for Nintendo Switch 2. Franchise Producer Eiji Aonuma said this year marks the 40th anniversary of the first Legend of Zelda game, and he was thinking about what to create as the series' producer.
