Young Sheldon Star Annie Potts Says She Was a ‘Little Sad’ About Jim Parsons Cameo as 'Mean and Unchanged' Sheldon in Show's Finale

Annie Potts, who portrayed a younger version of Sheldon’s Meemaw on Young Sheldon, revealed how she felt about the show’s finale, disagreeing with how adult Sheldon remained "mean and unchanged" in Parsons' finale cameo. The end of Young Sheldon — the seven-season-long Big Bang Theory Spinoff show — was rife with drama. Its abrupt ending was reportedly revealed to cast members in a Zoom call, with Potts saying she felt “blindsided” by the decision and went "full Meemaw” on the series’ producers.
