Veteran game composer in talks to score Mass Effect 5 shares 20 minutes of music he wrote for the project: 'To even dream in your sandbox was a privilege'

Composer Austin Wintory (Journey, Stray Gods, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate) just shared 20 minutes of music he wrote as a sort of audition/starting point for the score of Mass Effect 5, aka. Mass Effect: Universe. According to Wintory, he had been in "serious conversation" with BioWare and EA to provide the game's soundtrack. To be clear: This was not music that was 100% slated to appear in the game, but it sounds like Wintory was on the shortest of shortlists for the job.
