New Atari Jaguar Release Officially Confirmed for 2027

Star Streak is a brand-new 2D arcade shooter set to release on the Atari Jaguar in the first quarter of 2027. The Atari Jaguar home console launched in 1993 and was officially retired in 1996, making Star Streak a rare new release arriving more than 30 years after the console's discontinuation. Star Streak is developed by Daving Cummings, a solo developer who has worked on the game as a hobby for the past few years. In 2024, Cummings partnered with Songbird Productions to release an early version of Star Streak , limited to 100 cartridges.
