Atari VCS Store Shuts Down in February 2027

Atari plans to end VCS support after an OS update removes server dependencies. The store closes in early 2027; downloaded games will remain playable. Atari first unveiled the modern version of the classic console at E3 nearly a decade ago. The Atari VCS launched in December 2020, and Atari says it ended direct sales of the platform in 2025. A new update now confirms that the software store will be taken offline in February 2027.
