League Classic Set To End and Become a Rotating Game Mode

Riot Games has announced that League of Legends Classic will end as a permanent game mode after Season 3 of 2026. The throwback mode, which took the MOBA back to between Season 1 and Season 4, will end its current run on January 6, 2027. This means the mode lasted for less than six months since its original release back on July 29, 2026. However, Riot claims it hopes to bring the mode back, but only as a limited-time event. Riot claims that while League Classic saw a lot of excitement, most have now returned to other parts of League.
