Melty game launcher lets you play AI game mashups in one click, but there’s a catch

Melty promises one-click access to AI-assisted game mashups, but using the launcher means letting it download programs, modify files, and run setup steps on your PC. The free Windows app brings community-made crossovers into a single launcher. Its website advertises combinations including Minecraft and Skyrim, Mario and Elden Ring, and Portal and Half-Life. Creators can also use coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex to build and publish their own projects. It follows a wave of crossover demonstrations, including Tobyn Jacobs’ Minecraft-in-Elden-Ring mod and Minecraft running inside an unofficial iPhone port of GTA 5.
