Kingdom Hearts' First 25th Anniversary Release Officially Announced

Kingdom Hearts turns 25 years old in 2027, and Square Enix is already preparing to bring back a familiar piece of the franchise's history. The original Kingdom Hearts introduced Sora, Riku, and Kairi alongside a massive cast of Disney and Final Fantasy characters, setting the stage for all the games that followed. With Kingdom Hearts ' 25th anniversary approaching, there's plenty of interest in what Square Enix has planned for the occasion. Naturally, much of that interest surrounds Kingdom Hearts 4 , which remains one of Square Enix's most anticipated upcoming games.
