As Marvel Studios' release of Avengers Endgame: Encore proves, blockbuster movies can still dominate the box office , even after a multibillion dollar run. Sony is reportedly planning a rerelease of Spider-Man: Brand New Day to bring web-head-heads back to movie theaters — and like Endgame: Encore , the studio is adding new footage of Spider-Man 's latest flick as an incentive. According to Deadline , the new footage will include at least one cut cameo from Spider-Man: Brand New Day that connects to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
