Can you beat General Lothaire in Valor Mortis?

⚔️ If you beat General Lothaire you get the General's Catalyst Clot, 10k catalysts, and the Torn-Banner achievement. ⚔️ You only have one attempt to beat him, since if you die, a cutscene will play and the boss will disappear. ⚔️ If you hit ALT + F4 the moment you die, I found you can load in just before the boss arena to try again. General Lothaire, The Eagle-Bearer, is the first boss in Valor Mortis and is one of those classic starting soulslike fights you're really not supposed to win.
