BLAST has announced that it will host its Open Season 3 2027 tournament, set to be held from September 3-12, in the United States. The event will also feature an updated format from previous Open events, which featured 16 teams split into two groups, feeding into a six-team playoff. The updated format will feature a Play-In Stage, where 16 teams will compete in a LAN environment in the USA in a Swiss bracket set to be held over five days.
