LVS boss Patrick Dumont and wife said to have quietly acquired Miriam Adelson’s share in NBA’s Dallas Mavericks

Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) Chairman and CEO Patrick Dumont now holds a controlling 69% stake in NBA franchise the Dallas Mavericks after quietly acquiring mother-in-law Dr Miriam Adelson’s stake last month, according to US sports media outlet ESPN . Dumont, who is married to Adelson’s daughter Sivan, dicussed the latest developments during an interview this week in which he also expressed his intention to purchase another 20% from the Mavericks’ former owner and now minority investor Mark Cuban in the future.
