VEGAS MUSIC NEWS: John Mayer Hits 21 at Sphere, Sting Returning to Caesars

John Mayer has added three more dates to his 2027 Sphere run, bringing the total to a Vegas-lucky 21. The newest shows—June 9, 11 and 12—were announced Tuesday (Oct. 13) after another surge in demand. Mayer announced six shows in September, then added a dozen more last week. The residency, titled “Solo + Full Band + John Mayer Trio,” now runs from April 8 through June 12, 2027. Mayer’s Sphere production is built around three formats: a solo segment, a full‑band set, and a revival of the John Mayer Trio with drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino .
