Louisiana grants DraftKings conditional license extension amid AI and responsible gambling probe

The Louisiana Gaming Control Board (LGCB) has granted DraftKings a conditional license extension instead of a full renewal so investigators can review allegations about the operator’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) and its responsible gambling practices. The board voted unanimously on Thursday to extend the company’s authorization through February 19, 2027 , with the full renewal hearing set for February 18, 2027. DraftKings’ Louisiana sports betting license was set to expire on November 10.
