Caesars Ent. CEO Tom Reeg to Oversee Tilman Fertitta’s Business Empire

As the sale of Caesars Entertainment proceeds, we’ve confirmed an intriguing twist: Caesars CEO Tom Reeg is expected to oversee Tilman Fertitta’s sprawling business empire. That empire includes Caesars Entertainment, Fertitta Entertainment, Landry’s (60 restaurant brands), Golden Nugget casinos and more. That’s a metric hell-ton of restaurants, hotels, resorts, casinos and real estate. Tom Reeg needs to ask for a serious raise. He’ll do pretty well coming out of the Caesars acquisition, but still. The expanded role would put Reeg in charge of a vast and diverse collection of businesses, well beyond the casino industry where he’s made his name.
