Palantir Chart Puts Fine-Tuned Nemotron at 73% on RFI Task

Palantir’s Monday, Nov. 2 business update put a McCarthy Building Companies model at about 73% on a construction RFI classification test, highlighting a customer-specific result with a low listed token price. McCarthy fine-tuned NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3 Nano 4B on more than 100,000 production requests for information, or RFIs. In construction, RFIs are formal questions used to clarify project plans, specifications or site conditions. Nemotron 3 Nano 4B has 3.97 billion parameters. Palantir’s chart labeled its scoring measure “Balance Accuracy.” The fine-tuned Nemotron scored about 73%, while the untuned version was shown at about 53%.
