Ripple and Robinhood to expand RLUSD to Bitstamp, app listing expected this year

Ripple has entered a partnership with Robinhood to broaden the use of its stablecoin, RLUSD, across settlement, treasury, and financing services for institutional clients. RLUSD is being launched on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp, and a listing within Robinhood’s main trading app is anticipated later this year. Bitstamp, which is among the world’s longest-running cryptocurrency exchanges, will also integrate RLUSD for institutional settlement. Ripple reported RLUSD’s market capitalization has surpassed $2.5 billion, reaching this milestone roughly 22 months after its December 2024 introduction.
