Kazakhstan Issues Injunctions Against Coinbase, HTX and Four Other Crypto Exchanges

Coinbase, HTX, BingX, BitMart, WEEX, and Bitcoin.com face Kazakhstan court injunctions over allegedly unlicensed crypto services within the AIFC. Coinbase, BingX, Bitcoin.com, HTX, BitMart, and WEEX face court injunctions in Kazakhstan over allegedly providing or promoting digital asset services without the required licenses, as the country steps up enforcement against unauthorized crypto platforms. The Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) announced that the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Court issued the orders on September 15. The injunctions also cover Google and Apple as app store operators, potentially restricting users’ access to the platforms’ applications within the AIFC.
