Drift-Linked Wallets Send at Least $109 Million in Ether to Tornado Cash

Wallets linked to the April 1 Drift Protocol hack sent at least $109 million in Ether (ETH) to Tornado Cash over two days, making the stolen assets harder to trace. A tracked set of wallets deposited 25,710 ETH on Oct. 20 and another 18,800 ETH on Oct. 21. Those deposits totaled 44,510 ETH, valued at about $109 million when observed. That dollar value is roughly 37% of the $295 million lost in the attack. Wallets identified as linked to the exploit still held 56,569 ETH, worth about $138 million, after the latest deposits.
