Ares Capital Shares Lose 3.06% in Premarket Trading After Q3 Report

Ares Capital shares fell 3.06% to $18.04 in premarket trading at 6:30 a.m. ET (10:30 UTC) Tuesday, Oct. 27, as third-quarter commitments fell to $2.109 billion. Gross investment commitments for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were down from $3.924 billion in Q3 2025. Ares Capital funded about $1.6 billion of the commitments. Core EPS, a non-GAAP measure, was $0.46, compared with $0.50 in Q3 2025. The third-quarter results also included total investment income of $763 million, down from $782 million.
