Warzone Season 1 removes Verdansk and Rebirth Island but they return with updates

Warzone is removing two of its most iconic maps, Verdansk and Rebirth Island, when Season 1 begins on November 6, but they won't be gone for long. Both maps have been staples of the battle royale in recent years, with Verdansk offering large-scale matches and Rebirth Island providing a smaller, faster-paced alternative through Resurgence. However, Activision has confirmed that neither will be available when the new season launches, as two brand-new locations take their place.
