This Year’s N7 Day Will Be a Bittersweet Affair for Mass Effect Fans

The annual celebration of all things Mass Effect, known as N7 Day , is almost here, but this year, it’s shaping up to be a rather melancholy spectacle. Every year on November 7th, Mass Effect fans come together to pay tribute to the sci-fi series they know and love, but 2026’s edition has a dark cloud hanging over it. Toward the end of October, it was announced that BioWare, the long-time developer behind the Mass Effect series, would be shutting down.
