Halo and Destiny composer Marty O'Donnell loses his race for a seat in the US House of Representatives

Halo and Destiny composer Marty O'Donnell's political aspirations have hit a roadblock following last night's US mid-term elections. O'Donnell was campaigning for a seat in the US House of Representatives, running as a Republican candidate in Nevada's Third Congressional District, but is projected to lose. The Associated Press called the race at 9am this morning, with incumbent Democrat Susie Lee currently holding 59.1 percent of the vote as of writing. O'Donnell currently has 38.6 percent of the vote, making a deficit of over 51,000 votes.
