GTA 6 Has Sold Almost 8 Million Copies So Far, And PS5 Is Dominating The Split (Of Course)

The video game research company Sensor Tower has updated its GTA 6 sales tracker to reveal the latest, albeit unofficial, sales data for the open-world crime game. According to Sensor Tower, GTA 6 has now sold 7.71 million total units via pre-purchases, which works out to about $751 million in gross revenue. The report said PS5 sales are dominating the mix, with GTA 6 selling 5.74 million units on PS5 so far, compared to 1.97 million on Xbox Series X|S.
