Dark Soul 2 and 3 Taken Offline “Temporarily” Due to “Server Issue,” Says FromSoftware

Remember when FromSoftware took down servers for its Dark Souls games, and uncertainty reigned over whether they would ever return? It’s happened again, this time for Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 . This is apparently due to a “server issue” which affects all platforms. The developer said it will update players on “server restoration time” once it has more “information.” At the very least, this is temporary, though one’s interpretation may vary. Either way, if you’ve been having a blast in co-op for either title, you’ll need to postpone those playthroughs until the foreseeable future.
