Abstract Chickens start hatching on Ethereum ahead of Abstract’s shutdown

Hot potato NFT game Abstract Chickens has opened its bridge to Ethereum more than a month early, giving holders of the 3,333 eggs a chance to hatch them before the Abstract network shuts down. By 4th November, the project’s dashboard showed 285 chickens had arrived on Ethereum, about 8.6% of the collection, with 3,048 still on Abstract. Created by Yuga Labs’ 0xQuit , the game turns Abstract’s scheduled shutdown on 15th December into a test of timing and nerve. Each egg originally cost 0.01 ETH, to mint of which 0.008 ETH went into the game’s reserve.
