YouTube restores true crime channel EWU’s monetization days after removal

Popular true crime channel EWU has been reinstated in the YouTube Partner Program after it was demonetized. Explore With Us (EWU), one of YouTube’s biggest true crime networks, said on October 29 that it had been demonetized for violating monetization rules concerning repetitive or generic content. In a lengthy community post, it criticized YouTube’s content restrictions and told viewers they could continue to watch on its streaming service, EWU Plus, while it worked towards monetization.
