YouTube is testing hiding the dislike button entirely and users aren’t happy

YouTube appears to be testing another change to its dislike button, with some users reporting that the option is no longer visible alongside the usual video controls. The potential change comes nearly five years after YouTube removed public dislike counts from videos in 2021, a decision that sparked backlash from viewers who relied on the numbers to judge content. Now, reports suggest the platform could be taking things a step further by hiding the dislike button itself, making it harder for viewers to give negative feedback on videos.
