Wendy’s is releasing free Final Fantasy-style RPG on Steam

Wendy's is taking its beef with McDonald's to a whole new level, releasing a free Final Fantasy-style RPG where players battle fast-food-inspired monsters to save the world. The fast-food giant is entering the world of gaming with WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones, a retro-inspired JRPG featuring turn-based combat, pixel art, and enough food puns to make even the most dedicated dad groan. Developed by 81monkeys, the game puts Wendy's iconic redheaded mascot in the role of a sword-wielding hero tasked with saving the kingdom of Savoria from an evil organization known as Mech Corp.
