Wargaming cofounder’s Mika Games raises $10m to back studios beyond soft launch

Mika Games, the investment company founded by Wargaming cofounder Nick Katselapov, has raised a further $10m in a new funding round. Mika announced the round, led by Flint Capital, on October 21, saying it will help mobile studios address the “catch-22” of needing “a proven marketing track record to access financing, but need upfront capital to build it” and pointed to stats claiming US top 1,000 by downloads nearly halved between 2020 and 2024.
