Star Fox-Inspired Wild Blue Skies Is Out Now on Switch

Wild Blue Skies draws on N64 and PS1-era aerial shooters for its Switch debut. Discover its arcade combat, branching paths, and more. Heavily inspired by Star Fox 64, the game launched on PC, PS5, and XBOX in August 2026 from Chuhai Labs and Balor Games. Star Fox 64 was recently remastered and launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 in June of this year, but Wild Blue Skies, released on the Nintendo Switch 1 on October 28, lets players enjoy classic on-rails shooter gameplay on the previous-generation Nintendo hardware. Wild Blue Skies received a mixed reaction on Steam.
