Skyblivion's Biggest Legal Challenge Yet Is Not Coming From Bethesda

Skyblivion , an ambitious mod aiming to recreate all of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion within Skyrim's game engine , has run into a new legal challenge after over a decade of volunteer-driven development. Surprisingly, these legal troubles don't stem from Bethesda Game Studios or Microsoft, but a former volunteer. On Oct. 30, the Skyblivion team took to X and YouTube to explain that a former volunteer on the project is attempting to sue the others working on it.
