Pancake company wants you to lock away your phone in exchange for a year’s worth of pancakes

Pancake mix company Krusteaz is giving customers a reason to put down their phones at breakfast with a new product that comes with a year's supply of pancakes. The company announced its limited-edition Pancake Pause Box on October 12, a phone safe designed to keep devices out of reach while families and friends enjoy breakfast together. The promotion is part of an effort to encourage people to spend less time looking at screens and more time connecting with others during meals.
