New Halloween Game Put Original Michael Myers Actor in a Mocap Suit

IllFonic CCO Jared Gerritzen discusses recreating 1978 Haddonfield, capturing Nick Castle’s original Michael Myers movements, using UE5 lighting, and building reactive NPC systems for Halloween: The Game. IllFonic has spent much of the past decade refining its approach to asymmetrical multiplayer through games including Friday the 13th: The Game, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. Halloween: The Game applies those lessons to one of horror’s most influential films, but its recreation of Haddonfield involves considerably more than placing Michael Myers inside another familiar multiplayer formula.
