MKBHD says Apple’s new $300 HomeView is a “skip for most people”

Popular tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee, better known as MKBHD, has shared his first impressions of Apple's new HomeView smart home hub, and he isn't convinced it's worth the $300 price tag. Apple unveiled HomeView on October 13 alongside a refreshed HomePod Mini 2 and Apple TV 4K, introducing a dedicated smart home display designed to compete with similar devices from Google and Amazon. After spending time with the device, Brownlee praised some features but questioned whether Apple's latest product justifies its higher price, especially for people who already have a smart home setup.
