Man dies after entering tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park zoo

Police have reported that a man has died after being attacked by a tiger at a zoo in Yorkshire, UK. Yorkshire Wildlife Park, known as Land of the Tigers, opened in April 2009 with its tiger enclosure opening in 2011. On its website, the UK-based zoo is described as an area where the big cats can roam woodlands and grasslands or play in a waterfall pool. South Yorkshire Police were called to the zoo on October 10 following reports of a man entering the tiger enclosure. The police force said that the man was "attacked" by the big cat.
