Jack in the Box responds after restaurant soaks customers with water for ‘loitering’

Jack in the Box has responded after customers complained about being unexpectedly drenched by water and hearing a message telling people to stop loitering. The system was installed outside the restaurant in downtown San Diego, where water reportedly sprayed across three areas of the building at intervals of several minutes. According to ABC 10News, the sprinklers have caught several people off guard, including customers who had just purchased food. One said she had stopped at the restaurant for breakfast when the water began spraying, soaking both her and her electric bike.
