Influencer Gracie Bon has responded after coming under fire for appearing to turn an earthquake in Panama into a photo shoot, with plenty of viewers urging her to help. On October 9, Panama was hit with a 7.7-magnitude earthquake, devastating regions across the country. Homes have been destroyed, and people have lost their livelihoods as around 700 aftershocks have also been reported. Influencer Gracie Bon, who has close to 12 million followers on Instagram, posted about the disaster shortly after it had occurred. “The reality of my country,” she said.
