Epic Games Reveals Plans to Finally Bring Fortnite to a New Platform

Epic Games has just teased that Fortnite will be coming to Linux in the near future. While an exact release date hasn't been confirmed just yet, Epic Games is planning to use Fortnite on Linux to test a new version of its Easy Anti-Cheat system. One of the only ways to reliably play Fortnite on Linux right now is via Cloud streaming, either through Xbox Game Pass, GeForce Now, or a similar kind of service. Essentially, this is due to Epic Games' Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) system, which the company has used since 2014.
