Deadlock’s new hero secretly references famous chess matches

Deadlock’s new hero Solomon has a hidden detail that has chess fans impressed, with the pieces on his board rearranging into positions from famous games every time he reloads. Solomon is a floating chess grandmaster added in Deadlock’s City Never Sleeps update, one of six new heroes being released one at a time through player votes. He fights by launching pieces off his board, and can summon giant versions of a rook, knight, bishop and queen that move across the battlefield like their real chess counterparts.
