Battlefield 6 Quietly Yanks Planned Mass Effect Collab From Its Store After BioWare Closure

Battlefield 6 has collaborated with Mass Effect before, and the last time that the military shooter did so, it was shortly after publisher EA gutted BioWare in 2025 . To say it felt in bad taste at the time is an understatement. Recently, fans discovered that Battlefield 6 was again seemingly going to add a handful of Mass Effect cosmetics to the game, presumably for N7 Day, BioWare’s annual celebration of its sci-fi RPG series. Now, it appears that the previously locked cosmetics have been removed from the game entirely following the announcement that EA is shutting down the studio.
