UK Gambling Commission survey finds 1% of adults engaged with illegal gambling sites

The Gambling Commission published its first survey estimates of how many adults in Great Britain use illegal gambling websites on November 5, 2026, putting past-month engagement at 0.6% of all respondents. The figures come from the Gambling Survey for Great Britain (GSGB) and were released alongside an updated Illegal Gambling Data Dashboard, which the Commission said will track engagement trends and measure the impact of its work to disrupt illegal markets.
