Visitor traffic increased steadily throughout the morning, and by midday the nine exhibition halls were bustling with attendees moving between stands, business meetings and conference sessions. Visitors arriving at Fiera Roma were greeted by a procession of flag-bearers and trumpeters in Renaissance costume, accompanied by drummers, stilt walkers and jugglers.
